RoLanka offers woven coir mats made of mixed coir fiber, CoirMat series. These mats are light brown in color available in 3 types, CoirMat 400, CoirMat 700 and CoirMat 900. These rolls are available in 6.5 ft (2m) x 166 ft (50m) roll size only. Other sizes are special orders.

If project specifications call for woven coir mats made of bristle coir and/or higher tensile strengths than CoirMat, it is recommended to use RoLanka’s BioD-Mat blankets. The field functional life of BioD-Mat blankets is much more longer than CoirMat. BioD-Mat blankets are made of the best quality coir fiber, bristle coir, and the CoirMats are made of mixed grade coir fiber which include low strength and less durable coir fiber. Compare the strength properties of BioD-Mat and CoirMat, especially wet strengths, to understand the quality differences between these two products. These mats can be easily separated from industry leading BioD-Mat woven bristle coir mats.
