RoLanka BioD-Watl™ is made from cleaned mattress coir fiber, which is uniformly and lightly packed into a high strength bristle coir twine netting (2 in x 2 in opening). The lightly packed coir fiber allows cleaner water to pass through leaving sediment behind. Flexible, easy-to-use, reusable, natural and biodegradable BioD-Watl™ is an excellent sediment control structure for construction and landscaping projects. BioD-Watl™ is available in 6-in, 9-in, and 12-in diameters and 10-ft, 15-ft and 20-ft lengths. The excellent filtering ability and the superior durability of coir fibers, compared to other natural fibers, makes BioD-Watl™ a better alternative than straw wattles and wood fiber logs. The biodegradable, yet durable netting in BioD-Watl™ is not only environmentally friendly, but also lasts longer than plastic netting in other types of wattles.
